Creating perfumes is a delicate blend of art and science. The process begins with careful selection of raw materials, including essential oils from flowers, fruits, herbs, and woods. These ingredients are extracted using methods like steam distillation, solvent extraction, or cold pressing to capture their purest essence.

Next, skilled perfumers, known as noses, craft unique fragrance formulas by blending top, middle, and base notes to ensure a balanced and lasting scent. The blend is then mixed with alcohol and water, allowing the fragrance to develop and mature during a process called maceration, which can take several weeks.
